Assessment
TRIAD is proud to offer a variety of educationally related assessments to our clients. Our team is comprised of experts in psychoeducational assessment, cognitive/IQ testing, academic testing, and social/emotional assessment. Below are brief descriptions of our assessment services:
Independent Educational Evaluation / Psychoeducational Assessment: A comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation, involving a review of a client’s educational records, social/emotional assessments, cognitive assessment, academic assessment, behavioral observations, and clinical interviews. These evaluations are foundations for Special Education Eligibility and for diagnosis of impairments that may affect a client’s education or vocation.
Cognitive/IQ testing: A specialized assessment measuring different cognitive processes, which comprise the overall cognitive ability of a person. Often referred to as an Intelligence Quotient, these assessments may provide clients with insight about their strengths and weaknesses pertaining to learning and processing information.
Academic Testing: A specialized assessment providing information about a client’s reading, writing, math, listening comprehension, and oral expression skills. These assessment results are especially useful in developing an Individualized Education Program for students, as data can inform goals and services that may be required for the student.
